Business Mode
Business Mode — teamspace, projects and operations
Business Mode turns TaskSimply into a lightweight operations hub. Invite teammates, run projects on kanban boards, keep SOPs in a wiki and separate work from personal and family tools.
Built for: Small teams, founders, operators and ministries with project work
- Dedicated teamspace with invites
- Project kanban: backlog → done
- Wiki, docs and operations notes
- Shared vault for procedures and links
A business layer without enterprise weight
Business Mode isolates team work so personal shopping lists and household budgets do not mix with project delivery. Switch modes instead of juggling separate products.
Command, projects, wiki and people
Use the command center for status, Projects for kanban delivery, Wiki for shared knowledge and People for roles and invites.
Projects the whole team can read at a glance
Each project runs on a five-column board — backlog, to-do, doing, review and done. Drag cards between columns, give each one an owner, a due date and a priority, and add notes so a card carries enough context to move without another meeting.
Knowledge that doesn't live in one person's head
Keep SOPs, onboarding notes, meeting notes and operating procedures in the team wiki, organised by category. Pin the documents people reach for most so they sit at the top.
Separate from personal life, in the same login
Business Mode keeps client and team work in its own space. Switch back to Personal for your own tasks or to Family for the shopping list — no second account, no mixing the two.

FAQ
Is Business Mode the same as Teams?
Business Mode is the upgraded Teams experience — the same teamspace tools, now presented as one of TaskSimply's four product modes.
Can I invite teammates?
Yes. Create invite links from the People tab and share access to projects, kanban and wiki.
Do I need a separate account for Business Mode?
No. Business Mode is part of the same TaskSimply login. Personal tasks stay in Personal Mode while team projects live in Business Mode.
Can I drag cards between kanban columns?
Yes. Project cards move between backlog, to-do, doing, review and done with drag and drop, and each card can carry an owner, due date, priority and notes.
Is Business Mode built for large companies?
It's designed for small teams, founders, ministries and project groups. Large organisations that need deep integrations or granular permissions may be better served by an enterprise tool.
